E P I C - from a rational point of view, the only logical consequence; from the heart’s perspec- tive, an untamable sense of urgency.
The term “epic” brings to mind the great feats of legendary heroes. For us, however, it has a different meaning. We don’t want to be heroes, we just want to be ourselves. Epic is our own personal story, a story about difficult compromises, facing failure, and the eternal search for inspiration. For us as a band, epic means diving into the deep together and trusting that, somehow, we’ll equalize the pressure. Each song is a stop in our journey off the deep end – a journey into ourselves.
Light Epic, the road into the unknown brings us to new ports. Klamauk, the absurdity of the daily grind becomes apparent when the world is turned upside down. London, like in a stupor, drawn into the current of a different world. Sophie, a love song. Techno Epic, waves come crashing in, you hear their roar, feel their relentless power, and let yourself be embraced by them. Loophole, We bend and twist. We all do. We find the cranny and misuse it too. When one is done, find another one. Stupid, but human. Simple, but irreversible. Loopholes are present everywhere. Don‘t resist. It will happen anyway. Unsearchable, to get lost – all that remains is me. Silent pain. Hashtag, a station in the digital parallel universe. Who or what are we here? The Last One, floating aimlessly, lethargic selflessness. When I See Your Face, love is the key. It opens us to ourselves, to the place where we just are.
We resurface and we are here. That is Epic.
